To constantly strive to meet or exceed the needs and expectations of the community we serve. To work together as a team, to respect opinions and view of others. To be reliable & accountable for our own team participation. To work together on assigned task & challenges, accepting each members thoughts. As a team we will identify, create a plan of action utilizing everyone’s knowledge, soliciting input from all. Being responsible and acknowledging each personal thought and efforts put in by each member. To be seen as a great organization by the community and the individuals that we serve.
Laguna Relief and Resource Center is a non-profit organization of local volunteers that serves the community by bringing those in emergency need in Laguna Beach together with the network of resources and agencies available in the community to address their needs. Our mission is to try to prevent homelessness and to provide support services to the homeless and low-income people in Laguna Beach in a way that encourages self-sufficiency and inspires independence. LRRC also serves the community in the area of disaster preparedness and response, and is the local group to which the City turns during times of natural disasters (fires, flooding, landslides, etc.) to provide coordination of assistance to residents affected by disasters without duplicating the work of federal or other local agencies.
