Homeless Assistance

Laguna Relief and Resource Center provides services and assistance to individuals and
families who are homeless. The Continuum of Care is designed to deliver housing and
services to meet their specific needs as they move to stable housing and maximum self-
sufficiency. It is designed to prevent and end individual and family homelessness and
prevent their return to homelessness.
In our Resource Center and in our outreach program, our mentors, case managers and
volunteers link homeless individuals and families to

•        Emergency, transitional, and permanent housing
•        Disability care: Alcohol & drug rehabilitation: Mental health programs
•        Governmental and private program referrals and enrollment (SSI, MSI, etc.)
•        Assistance in finding employment
•        Family reunification
•        Identification recovery
•        Transportation
•        Education
•        Legal assistance (homeless court, volunteer lawyers)
•        Health care (Medical, Dental and Eye care, etc.)

In the Resource Center we provide

•        Basic-Needs (food, showers, clothing, laundry, toiletries, lockers, and use of
computers)
